Story behind the song
I recorded it at the old KQQK production studios here in Houston, when I was a dj there. Sabino Lozano added his guitar. I never meant for anyone to listen to this song. But since Jay has always been a dear friend to me, I decided to leave a copy for him to listen to. I went home and crashed out. When I woke up at around noon, I had about 15 messages on my cell phone! It was from people he had showed the song to. I was pissed. But only cause I was extremely nervous and didnt think I could see anyone face to face anymore. LoL I was upset for a few hours and I've been riding the rollercoaster ever since! The song was for a girl from high school who shall remain nameless. I ran into her during the summer of 2001. We talked a few times and before she can break my heart again, I told her I didn't feel for her, what I had felt in 1996. Here's a true fact.... When I played the song for her and told her it was about her... She punched me in the face! Jajaja Thanks for the memories SC!!
